Wheat Starch Project Introduction

Dough mixing: Mix the wheat flour with appropriate proportion of water in the dough mixer to form dough. After staying in the dough tank for a certain time, the dough enters the rotary drum filter.


Dough washing: Use the rotary drum filter and enough water to rinse the dough to remove the starch from the dough.


Separation of gluten & B starch, A starch & fiber and pentosan: Tri-canter is used to divide the flour into three phases. Most of the fiber and A-starch are separated, then to the rotary drum filter to recover the small amount of gluten mixed; The separated B Starch and gluten are sent to the flash sieve for the further separation. After being washed through the rotary drum filter, the light substance pentosan is then mixed with fibre and dried as animal feed.


Gluten screening: B starch and gluten enter the flat sieve first, starch and gluten will be separated here. The gluten is then washed through the rotary drum filter to separate out the small amount of starch mixed with the gluten.


Dewatering and drying of gluten: After washing, the gluten is dehydrated by the squeezer and then entered into the gluten dryer system to obtain the qualified gluten.


Separation of fiber and A-starch: The fiber and A-starch pass through the rotary screen first to recover the mixed small amount gluten. And then, enter the centrifugal sieve to separate the fiber from the starch.


A starch refinery: Through the refinery, the mixed B starch is separated from the separated A starch. Then, the refined A starch is obtained.


A starch dehydration and drying: The refined A starch is dehydrated through the peeler centrifuge to get the suitable water content, then enters the A starch dryer for drying, so as to obtain the qualified A starch.


B starch: After mixed, the separated B starch, fiber and pentosan can be directly sent to the alcohol workshop to produce alcohol, or can be dehydrated throught the De-canter, and enter the drying workshop. After drying, it is used as feed production.
