Citric Acid Project Introduction
The corn slurry enters the system for liquefaction and ejection after being crushed using the dry milling method. After maintaining the temperature and liquefaction for a predetermined period of time, it moves into the filtration portion. After being sterilised, filter the crude protein before it enters the fermentation system. Keep the fermentation at a specific temperature, for a specific amount of time, and with enough oxygen. The generation of citric acid continues with the neutralisation phase after filtering the fermentation mash. The filtered bacterial residue is combined with the liquid crude protein and dried for use as animal feed after being washed and the citric acid recovered. Using two rounds of filtering and neutralisation in the neutralisation step, calcium hydrogen citrate precipitation is produced. Primary citric acid is derived by acid hydrolysis and extraction. The coloured impurities, odd smell, and other impurity ions of citric acid are eliminated using decolorization, filtration, and a continuous ion exchange system, enabling the acid to fulfil its refining and purifying objectives. The certified anhydrous citric acid is then produced by centrifugal separation, drying, and vacuum evaporation crystallisation. The mother liquid is centrifuged for centrifugal separation, dried, vacuum evaporated and crystallised, and then the qualified citric acid monohydrate is obtained as the end product.
