Maltodextrin Project Introduction
Commercial starch is used as a raw material to produce maltodextrin. The commercial starch goes to a dissolving tank for dissolving. After dissolving with water, the material goes into slurry mixing tank. The slurry mixing process is controlled by online detection. The process was adjusted with appropriate DS, PH, and enzyme with starch milk. After that, the slurry goes to an automatic liquefaction system. The liquefaction systems adopt two times ejection and two times are flashing. Also, the system maintains the appropriate temperature and time to ensure the best liquefaction effect. Then the material goes to the saccharification system to reach desired DE value. Then enters the filtration after liquefaction or saccharification to remove the less amount of protein and other impurities in the liquid maltodextrin. After filtration, the liquid maltodextrin goes through the decoloring & filtering system to remove the impurities inside and then enters the continuous ion exchange section to remove the mixed fewer impurity irons in the liquid maltodextrin to achieve the purpose of refining and purifying the maltodextrin. Then the maltodextrin was sent to the evaporator for concentration. Then the concentrated maltodextrin was sent to the spray dryer for drying. After drying, the qualified maltodextrin product is obtained.
